Begin birthday rant:
We were all born fearless. Fear is a learned behavior, it is training that we are immersed in since we are gain consciousness. I often say that we spend our first 20 something years learning fear and the rest of our life unraveling it and discovering life beyond fear. The first step is to remember what it feels like in your body. For me, the memory that pops into my mind is being a little girl on the uneven bars at school and doing what was called the “Cherry Drop”, the mere thought of it now makes me cringe, how I managed to not snap my neck is beyond me but I bet it had a lot do with being fearless.
As kids I know it didn’t always work out in our favor and at times I’d walk through the front door with blood gushing out my knee, but it was worth it. There is no other joy like that of living life to the fullest, taking chances and going all in. What’s the worst that could happen? It could be bad, real bad. But chances are it won’t be. If you don’t take the chance then you’re already losing, because you’ll never know how good it could have been.
I’m not advocating to go out and flip on bars, let’s be real we are not spring chickens. But as adults our cherry drops come with life choices, choices that can and will change the course of our path.

“The bad news is time flies, the good news is you’re the pilot”
Go out and fly your plane fearlessly, the sky is the limit.
